6 Tips To Fitness Success

  1. We must think about fitness as more of a permanent change. A way of life. Otherwise the gains you make, if any, will all go away once you stop and you'll end up more disheveled.
  2. Start gradual or small. Make your goals attainable, but worth your while. Once or twice a month will not be enough as well as making the goal of doing something every day either. This will inevitably lead to burn out.
  3. Cover all your bases. You must address every area of importance as it related to your health and fitness goals. Address weight training, cardiovascular and nutrition. Nutrition is 70-75% of being healthy and seeing results. Start with the right formula of all of it.
  4. Get the Support that you need to be successful. Not everyone can achieve his/her goals without a good support system. This does not mean that they give you advice but that they encourage you and hold you somewhat accountable.
  5. Be consistent. Doing anything without some kind of consistency, you'll only get so far. Don't expect to see results without some kind of consistency.
  6. Get professional help if needed. This could be hiring a personal trainer, getting involved in group training class or bootcamp, etc. Having a professional to help you along the way has been shown to produce faster results and to improve compliance.

January Bootcamp Special: Get in Gear!

Swimsuit season is only 4 months away. Just the time you need to get in gear and be swimsuit ready for your summer vacation. For the month of January first time boot campers get 15% off of Jan. and regular bootcampers get half off when you sign up a new bootcamper with you! Check out our January schedule:

Snap Fitness Chelsea:

  • Wed/Fri 5AM with Dana
Cost: $100 for 2 days a week 
Super Saturday classes are at Heardmont Park (check Facebook weekly for class times each week)
Cost is $5 for regular bootcampers and $10 for drop-ins on Saturdays. 
Week day classes are $20 for drop-ins

Better Body Bootcamp Class Schedule

Groupon Buyers: here is our schedule for the rest of the summer and classes that will resume when school starts back. Heardmont Park:
- Tuesday and Thursday 6-7 am, 6-7 pm,
8:15 am will start back in August when school starts back.

Snap Fitness in Chelsea:
You DO NOT have to be a member to participate here!
- Wednesday and Friday mornings 5-6 am
Monday 5-6 am will be added back after school starts back. When this starts back you will have the option of 2 or 3 days a week.

Super Saturday classes are for the summer from 7-8 am at Heardmont Park and are not part of the Groupon. All Saturday classes are $10 dropins.

Better Body Bootcamp Swimsuit Schedule

Let Better Body Bootcamp help you get into the best swimsuit shape of your life, all while having a little fun outside with your friends! Bootcamp is NOT always what you think it is. The fastest way to get fit and loose weight is by doing multiple muscle groups and exercises at the same time. We have fun with circuits, races, relays, and you can do it at any fitness level. It is always challenging at YOUR level and always different, therefore keeping the body guessing and your calorie burn high. We have lots of locations and times.

Heardmont Park:
6-7 am Tue/Thur
8:15-9:15 am Tue/Thur (this class will start back first week of August)
6-7 pm Tue/Thur

Snap Fitness in Chelsea: (you do not have to be a member)
5-6 am Mon/Wed/Fri

It is $100 for 4 weeks, two days a week or $150 for 3 days a week. It is $80 for 1 day a week for 6 weeks and $20 to drop-in to any weekday classes.

Super Saturday classes on Saturday mornings at 7 am Heardmont Park
$10 for drop-ins and $5 for registered bootcampers.

Happy New Year!!

It's the time of year where we set those New Year's Resolutions, and believe it or not the number one resolution is to loose weight and get fit! The fastest and funnest way to lose weight and get in shape is Bootcamp! We have lots of classes on different days, times and locations. I'm sure there is one for YOU! You can join us at any and all levels. You start where you are and begin to watch yourself get smaller, fitter and healthier. All while enjoying great encouragement, accountability and frienships!
